Discover the region

Garrel is a small town with a rich history. There are many historic buildings to visit here, such as St. John's Church from the 12th century or Clemenswerth Castle from the 18th century. Another highlight are the numerous cycling and hiking paths that lead through the surrounding nature.

Cloppenburg, on the other hand, is a larger town with many cultural highlights such as the Museumdorf Cloppenburg or the Kulturwerkstatt Qube. Here, too, numerous parks invite you to go for a walk.

The culinary specialities of the region are also particularly recommendable: be sure to try the traditional kale stew or enjoy freshly roasted coffee in one of the cosy cafés.

For outdoor activities, the summer is particularly suitable, when you can go canoeing on the lakes or play on the surrounding golf courses. In winter, on the other hand, it is worth taking a trip to one of the indoor swimming pools.

Whether rain or shine - Garrel and Cloppenburg have a lot to offer! Discover this idyllic region in the heart of Germany for yourself - our Travel Guide will help you!

Was will man mehr.

Aufgrund Zeitmangels u.

Ps. Es befinden sich GeoCaches am Wegesrand, mitnehmen! ;-)
