Gärtringen has many sights to offer. One of them is Hirschau Castle with its impressive Renaissance style as well as the idyllic park around the castle. The local history museum gives an insight into the history of the village and its inhabitants. If you like hiking or walking, we recommend the circular path around the lake by the natural outdoor pool or the panoramic path through vineyards and meadows.

Cultural highlights are also part of what Gärtringen has to offer: Visit the annual art exhibition "Art & Wine", for example, where local artists present their works, or take a guided tour through the historic old town.

If it rains, you don't have to miss out on activities! Just visit one of the many cafés or restaurants and indulge in culinary delights - be sure to try dishes such as Maultaschen or Spätzle!

    "Schluchten" weckt natürlich große Erwartungen bei Ortsunkundigen...Der Jägerpfad ist jedenfalls einer der schönsten Pfade im Schöbuch und lohnt sich immer wieder! Wir haben noch einen Abstecher zu dem namenlosen Tümpel und den Streuobstwiesen am Waldrand eingebaut. Einkehr ist am Wochenende in der Waldschenke am Spielplatz oder an Spieltagen am Fußballplatz von Rohrau möglich.

    Schöne abwechslungsreiche Runde. Die Bushaltestelle Rathaus Aidlingen ist gut von Böblingen angebunden. Selbst sonntags fährt der Bus 🚌 stündlich. Wer früh unterwegs ist sollte sich Getränke und ein Rucksackvesper mitnehmen.

    Zickzack durch die schöne Gäulandschaft: abwechslungsreiche und sehr gut befahrbar Strecke. Wir sind in Herrenberg gestartet und haben vor Sindelfingen/Böblingen entlang der B464 abgekürzt, um nicht durch die Städte fahren zu müssen. Die Autobahn ist zwar in der Nähe, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir haben für 50km 4Stunden benötigt. In Aidlingen, Kuppingen und Deckenpfronn gibt es einen Bäcker, wo man Pause machen kann.

    Haben die Tour mit Pedelecs gemacht. Für "manuelle" Biker wäre das schon anstrengend, besonders der Anstieg nach Wildberg. Bis auf ein paar holprige Stücke, besonders bei Gechingen sind die Wege super, fast keine Strassen. Sehr schöne Blicke über's Gäu. Landschaftlich sehr schön.

    Interessante abwechslungsreiche Tour, muß man gelegentlich mit Radfahrern teilen. so kurz nach dem Regen stellenweise schmierig. Achtung der Steig hinauf Richtung Naturfreundehaus Herrenberg ist auch als Trail für Biker ausgezeichnet, daher ist der Weg stellenweise sehr zerfahren, viele Pfützen und schwierig zu gehen. Es kam uns zum Glück kein Biker entgegen. Kulturelle Highlights Hildrizhausen und die Stiftskirche, sowie die Altstadt von Herrenberg.

    Eine wirklich sehr empfehlenswerte Tour mit vielen schönen Ausblicken auf Herrenberg, den Schönbuch und dahinter die Alb. Eben typisch Heckengäu! Der Anstieg aus Nagold heraus ist ziemlich kernig und verlangt für nicht motorisierte Radfahrer eine gute Untersetzung.

    Ein schöne Strecke für einen Spaziergang. Besonders der zweite Teil der Strecke besticht durch seine abwechslungsreiche Flora und der typischen Heckenlandschaft. Hier gibt es auch immer wider schöne Ausblicke. Wenn man etwas Glück hat kann man auch auf eine Schafherde treffen Der erste Teil des Weges verläuft im Wald, teils mit Fahrzeuglärm und ist im Vergleich zum zweiten Teil etwas weniger attraktiv. Alles in allem aber ein lohnenswerter Spaziergang.
