    Wer es liebt, in der Einsamkeit zu wandern, ist auf dem Eselsweg genau richtig. Ich habe während der ganzen Tage lediglich ein paar Mountainbiker getroffen. Der Weg ist absolut ruhig (wenn man über das Stück direkt an der A3 hinwegsieht). Die Beschilderung ist PERFEKT:-). Da kann nichts schief gehen. Auch findet man viele Hinweisschilder mit km-Angaben. Die Wege waren durchgängig sehr gepflegt. TIP TOP!!! Man wandert auf etlichen wunderschönen weichen Pfaden. Allerdings wurden LEIDER teils etliche Kilometer am Stück mit Schotter zugeschüttet. Diese Abschnitte sind keine Wanderwege mehr, sondern eine Zumutung. Ansonsten hätte ich sehr gerne 5 Sterne gegeben. Aber Schotter ist der absolute Grauen für jeden Wanderer. Wirklich sehr sehr schade!!!!! Ich bin die Tour bei fast 40 grad gewandert. Um meine Wasservorräte aufzufüllen, musste ich jedes Mal teils bis ganz runter ins Dorf absteigen. Dafür hatte ich eine offline-Karte, um auch hier den besten Weg zu finden. ......... Alles in allem kann ich den Eselsweg sehr empfehlen.

    Die ersten 25km sind ausschließlich auf Schotterwegen ab da folgen kurze Passagen auf Trails. Ab der Bayrische Schanz die Birkenhainer Landstrasse hinab ist hingegen wirklich interessant zu fahren auch ohne jeglichen technischen Anspruch. Alles in allem eine nette Feierabendrunde in schöner Landschaft unterbrochen durch lange Passagen auf Schotter zwischen Fichtenstangen.

    Tolle Strecke, habe mit einer Pause von 20-30 Min ungefähr 3,5 Std benötigt. Man sollte aber wirklich einen Sonnenhut und Creme dabei haben wenn die Sonne scheint, sonst verbrennt man sich da die Wege oftmals über Feldwege gehen, wo kein Schatten ist.

    Schöne Spazierstrecke um den Wiesbüttsee. Bin öfters im Winter hier, da es durch die höhere Lage, im Vergleich zu meiner Wohngegend, schneereicher ist. Der See ist in kalten Wintern komplett zugefroren. Es befindet sich auch eine gute Gaststätte mit Biergarten gleich am Wanderweg.
