Geographically, Estorf lies on the edge of the "Altes Land" nature park and is crossed by the picturesque Elbe River. The region is known for its orchards and traditional cider production. An absolute highlight here are the blossoming cherry trees in spring.

One of the tourist attractions is Agathenburg Castle with its impressive 16th century architecture and adjacent baroque garden. Also worth a visit are the historic old town of Stade with its picturesque half-timbered houses or the open-air museum "Historic Harbour" located directly on the Elbe.

Culturally, Estorf also has a lot to offer: The annual music festival "Elbfest.Tage" attracts numerous visitors from near and far. The play "Stader Tagebuch" (Stade Diary), which is based on authentic records, also provides an interesting insight into the history of this region.

For gourmets, local specialities such as matje rolls or green cabbage with spelt are highly recommended - both absolute delights for the palate!

But Estorf also has plenty to offer in the way of outdoor activities: in summer, the Elbe invites you to take a dip or you can cycle leisurely through the Alte Land and enjoy the landscape. Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy long walks in the colourful forests in autumn.

And what do you do in Estorf when it rains? A visit to the "Stadeum", a modern cultural and conference centre, offers a wide selection of events such as concerts or theatre performances.

All in all, Estorf is a destination that is definitely worth a visit. Whether cultural highlights, culinary delights or outdoor activities - everyone gets their money's worth here!
