Geographically, Esselbach is located between Würzburg and Aschaffenburg, surrounded by rolling hills and green forests. The picturesque landscape is a real highlight of the region and invites you to go hiking, cycling or simply to relax.

Tourist attractions include Mespelbrunn Castle with its romantic courtyard and the 18th century pilgrimage church of Maria Bildhausen. Cultural highlights include the annual "Esseltöne" music festival and the numerous art exhibitions at the Bronnbach Monastery Museum.

Culinary Esselbach also has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the delicious Spessart-Bock or enjoy regional specialities such as fresh bread, hearty bratwurst or sweet apple wine directly from the farm.

For outdoor activities, spring to autumn is particularly suitable - then you can roam through the idyllic nature on well-developed hiking and biking trails or relax while fishing at the nearby lake. If it rains, we recommend a visit to the Sinnflut leisure pool in Bad Brückenau or a tour of one of the regional museums.

Where is it most beautiful in Esselbach? Definitely: The view from the Schlossberg over the valley is an unforgettable experience and offers a breathtaking view.

Esselbach, Main-Spessart - definitely worth a trip!
