Discover the region
Hike along our well-developed hiking trail network, for example along the Rothaarsteig or - our insider tip! - on the Mäanderweg path. Cycle along the Eder, from the source to the Edersee lake. During a gliding tour or round tour from the airfield at Schameder, you can experience the landscape from a new perspective. “Bald’s oldtimer show” presents one of the largest collections of historic BMW motorbikes in the world. Get acquainted with our traditions, with potato frying and hunter’s fairs during the summer and autumn. In the winter, we prepare our extensive cross-country skiing trails for you.
