Ennigerloh

Ennigerloh is located near the Teutoburg Forest and is surrounded by green fields and forests. The town has a long history dating back to the Middle Ages. Today, Ennigerloh is mainly known for its beautiful half-timbered houses, which can be admired on a walk through the old town. Another highlight is Hovestadt Castle with its impressive baroque garden.

Warendorf, on the other hand, is on the agenda for horse and sports enthusiasts: the German Olympic Committee for Equestrianism (DOKR) and the Westphalian Horse Museum are both located here - both well worth seeing! But Warendorf also has a lot to offer culturally: You should have seen the historic town hall on the market square or also the Marienkirche.

In both towns there are many events throughout the year -from Christmas markets to music festivals to the traditional funfair stroll- so there is always something to see!

What would a stay be without culinary delights? In the restaurants you will find regional specialities such as kale with spelt or hearty stews made from Westphalian beef.

For outdoor activities, summer is particularly suitable; then cycle paths along picturesque rivers, hiking trails and bathing lakes invite you to explore. The nearby cities of Münster and Osnabrück are also worth a trip.

And if the weather doesn't cooperate? Then a visit to the museums such as the Glass Museum in Ennigerloh or the Westphalian Horse Museum in Warendorf is a good idea.
