Enkirch is particularly well known for its historic half-timbered houses from the 16th century, which characterise the townscape. A walk through the narrow streets will take you past the most beautiful sights such as the parish church of St. Martin or the old town hall.

Cultural highlights include the local history museum "Alte Schule", which gives an insight into the life of earlier generations, as well as regular concerts and events on the market square.

For gourmets, Enkirch offers culinary specialities such as the famous Riesling wine from the region or hearty dishes such as Saumagen or Leberknödel.

Outdoor activities can be enjoyed here at any time of year: Hiking along the Moselsteig in autumn, cycling through the vineyards in summer or skiing on the surrounding slopes in winter - there is always something to do!

Even if the weather is rainy, you don't have to be bored: Visit one of the nearby thermal baths, for example, or relax in a cosy wine tavern.

Where is the best place to be? That depends on your interests, of course! For nature lovers, a trip to Arras Castle is recommended, while culture-loving travellers should visit Lieser Castle.

Enkirch is definitely worth a trip and offers something for everyone. Use this Travel Guide as inspiration for your next holiday!
