Dierscheid is known for its breathtaking nature and the many opportunities to explore it. In summer, you can go hiking or cycling and enjoy the beautiful view of the Moselle valley. In winter, skiing is a great option on the nearby slopes.

Sehr schöner Rundweg. Gegenüber der Karte, die noch den Karl-Kaufmann-Weg benennt, ist die Strecke umbenannt in Ville-Eifel-Weg und gegen den Uhrzeiger gut wanderbar. Die Brücke über den Mühlbach, zwischen Dierscheid und Dodenburg gelegen, ist wegen schlechtem Zustand gesperrt. Leider war keine Umleitung zu finden. Hier sollte Ersatz geschaffen werden.

Die Strecke hat mir richtig gut gefallen!!! Sehr abwechslungsreich, sehr gepflegte Wege, so gut wie kein Asphalt, perfekte Beschilderung inkl. vieler Km- Angaben, zahlreiche Bänke und Pausenmöglichkeiten. Den einzigen Punkt Abzug: Das Stück zwischen Naurath und Rothaus verläuft sehr nah an Hauptstraßen und daher empfand ich es als sehr laut. Der Rest des Weges ist absolut ruhig, was mir sehr wichtig ist. Das ganze Stück zwischen Anfang Zemmer bis kurz hinter Gladbach verläuft zusammen mit dem Eifelsteig. Das toppt das ganze nochmal, da dieses Stück teils absolut schön ist.

Der Startpunkt Dodenburg ist ein zauberhaftes Dorf. Folgt man der empfohlenen Laufrichtung, ist man ohne App anfangs recht orientierungslos. Bis zum Zuweg fehlt die Beschilderung. Einmal führt der Zuweg nach rechts, wir mussten jedoch nach links den Berg hinauf nach Dierscheid. Hier würde ich die Route ändern oder entsprechend beschildern. Erst im Meulenwald selbst kann man sich bestens auf die Beschilderung verlassen. Der Aussichtsturm in Dierscheid ist geöffnet und bietet eine gute Möglichkeit zur Rast. An der Viktoriaquelle gibt es eine leckere Erfrischung, bevor man den Rest des abwechslungsreichen Weges meistert, der einen kurz vor Toresschluss nochmals mit einer saftigen Steigung herausfordert. Insgesamt ist der Weg leicht zu gehen, die Hm machen ihn mittelschwer. Es hat Spaß gemacht.
