For cultural highlights, we recommend a visit to the St. Nikolai Church with its impressive baroque organ or the Sorbian Museum, which provides insight into the history and customs of the Sorbian population. A stroll through the historic town centre with its lovingly restored half-timbered houses is also worthwhile.

For those who like to be active, there are numerous hiking and cycling trails to explore the picturesque landscape. The spring months are particularly beautiful, when nature awakens and everything is green and in bloom. In winter, ski resorts such as Jonsdorf or Oybin attract visitors to enjoy winter sports.

Cunewalde also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights: Be sure to try the delicious Quarkstollen or enjoy a hearty meal at the "Zum Hirsch" inn. For friends of sweet pastries, a detour to the traditional Schwerdtner bakery is recommended.

If it should rain, the indoor swimming pool "Badespaß" offers a good alternative for water rats of all ages. Here you can relax or do some sporty laps - just as you like.

Whether as a day trip or a longer journey, Cunewalde is definitely worth a visit. Let yourself be enchanted by the Sorbian culture and the picturesque landscape - we are sure that you will be thrilled too!
