Discover the region
One absolute highlight is, of course, the world-famous white cliffs of Rügen. Over a length of 15 kilometres, they rise majestically from the sea and offer a spectacular sight. But other sights such as the Granitz hunting lodge with its imposing tower or Cape Arkona with its lighthouses are also well worth a visit.
Culture enthusiasts should not miss a visit to the Störtebeker Festival. Every year between June and September, stories are told about the legendary pirate Klaus Störtebeker - an experience for young and old!
If you like to try regional specialities, you should definitely visit one of the numerous restaurants where fresh fish is served straight from the catch. Another delicacy is the famous Rügen sea buckthorn, which is offered not only as juice but also in the form of jam or liqueur.
Even when the weather is bad, there is plenty to discover in Buschvitz. How about a visit to the Königsstuhl National Park Centre, for example? Here you can learn about the flora and fauna of the region in an interactive way and stay dry.
And where is the most beautiful place in Buschvitz? That's hard to say, as each place has its own charm. But a walk through the picturesque village centre with its half-timbered houses and small alleys should definitely be on your to-do list!
So all in all, Buschvitz offers a perfect combination of nature, culture and culinary delights - a destination for every taste! We hope that our travel tips will help you and wish you an unforgettable stay in the beautiful north-east of Germany.
