Discover the region

Geographically, Burggen lies on the edge of the Alps and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The region is known for its picturesque forests, rivers and lakes, which are ideal for hiking or cycling. The famous Neuschwanstein Castle is also just a short drive away.

Burggen itself also has a lot to offer: Visit the 15th century St. Martin's Church or stroll through the historic town centre with its half-timbered houses and cobbled streets.

Culturally, there is much to discover here: The annual music festival attracts visitors from all over the world and offers a wide range of classical music as well as jazz and pop concerts. In the local museum you can learn more about the history of the region.

Burggen also has a lot to offer in terms of culinary delights - be sure to try the regional specialities such as Kaiserschmarrn or Allgäuer Käsespätzle in one of the cosy local restaurants.

For outdoor lovers there are numerous activities to choose from: From skiing in winter to swimming in summer, you can be active here all year round. The best seasons are spring and summer, when everything turns green and many wild flowers bloom.

Even if the weather is bad, you don't have to miss out on experiences: Visit the indoor swimming pool or relax in the sauna. Another option would be a trip to a nearby museum or gallery.

Overall, Burggen is definitely worth a trip and offers something for everyone - from cultural highlights to outdoor adventures. It is especially beautiful here in spring, when nature awakens and everything turns green. We hope this guide will help you with your planning!

Bio-Radler also drauf einstellen.

Also für Rennräder eher ungeeignet.

Sehr empfehlenswert
