Maps and trails
The geographical location of Bruchköbel is particularly attractive: the town is situated on the edge of the Spessart, one of the largest contiguous forest areas in Germany. Here you can experience unspoilt nature and unwind.

An absolute highlight of this region are the numerous hiking trails that lead through the Spessart. In summer, you can go on extensive tours to discover the flora and fauna. In winter, on the other hand, skiing on the surrounding hills is an attraction.

Culture lovers should not miss a visit to the historic town centre of Bruchköbel. There are numerous half-timbered houses to marvel at as well as Philippsruhe Castle with its beautiful park.

But Bruchköbel also has plenty to offer in the way of culinary delights: Be sure to try the local speciality "Spessartrücken", a tender piece of pork or wild boar grilled on beech wood.

For rainy days, we recommend a visit to the museum Altes Rathaus or the library in the Villa Puppenhaus. There you can learn more about the history of the town or browse in comfort.

It is particularly beautiful in Bruchköbel in spring, when nature awakens to new life and everything is green and blossoming. But autumn also has its charm with the colourful colours of the deciduous forest.

All in all, Bruchköbel is definitely worth a trip for anyone who longs for relaxation in the midst of nature and culture. This Travel Guide gives you an overview of the diverse offerings of this region - we hope to welcome you here soon!
