Bous

Geographically, Bous is located on the southern bank of the Saar and borders the French Lorraine. Its location makes it an ideal starting point for hikes in the nearby forests or along the river.

The town itself has many tourist attractions such as Bous Castle, a former hunting lodge from the 18th century, as well as St. Nicholas Church with its impressive baroque altar.

Cultural highlights can also be found here: The Museum Haus Ludwig displays a collection of works of contemporary art and design objects from all over the world.

For culinary specialities, we recommend a visit to the restaurant "Zum alten Bahnhof", which serves local specialities - including dishes with typical ingredients such as potatoes and sauerkraut.

If you like to be active, there are many ways to do so: Whether hiking through the surrounding forests or cycling on the well-marked routes - you can enjoy these activities when the weather is nice. In winter, there is also skiing on the nearby slopes.

But what to do when it rains? Bous has something to offer for that too! The indoor playground Funpark ensures fun for children of all ages or visit one of the many cosy cafés in town.
