Maps and trails
Geographically, Blender is located in the Lower Saxony region and is surrounded by picturesque forests and green fields. The town itself is known for its historic old town with narrow streets and half-timbered houses as well as the river Aller, which meanders through the town.

Touristically relevant are above all the many sights such as Erbhof Castle or the local history museum "Haus im Schluh". Cultural highlights can be found, for example, at concerts in the town hall or a visit to a theatre play in the theatre at the Pferdemarkt.

For culinary delights, we recommend a trip to a local brewery or vintner's row. Here you can enjoy regional specialities such as grilled salmon trout fillets with mashed potatoes or a hearty meal of kale with pinkel (a type of smoked sausage).

When it comes to outdoor activities, there are many options: Hiking on the numerous trails around Blender; cycling along the river Aller; canoeing on the waterway; fishing on lakes and streams and golfing on the nearby golf course.

The best season for outdoor activities is definitely spring to autumn. However, if it rains, you can still visit the many museums and historical sites or spend a relaxing afternoon in one of the cosy cafés.

Where is the best? That's hard to say, as Blender has many beautiful places. However, we recommend a walk through the Schlosspark Erbhof or along the Allerufer at sunset.

Overall, Blender is definitely worth a visit - a charming and idyllic destination with lots of history, culture and nature. This Travel Guide provides you with all the tips and information you need to get the most out of your stay here!

Besondere Highlights waren ...
