Discover the region

One of the tourist attractions here is Cochem Castle. This impressive fortress sits majestically on a hill above the town and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Another highlight is the Moselle, a river that meanders through this area and offers many opportunities for boat trips or walks along the banks.

Cultural highlights are also available in Beuren: visit the local history museum in Zell or take a guided tour of the historic old town of Cochem. For art lovers, a visit to the Villa Sarabodis cultural centre with its changing exhibitions of contemporary art is worthwhile.

When it comes to culinary experiences, be sure to try the local wine - this area is known for its wines such as Riesling and Pinot Noir. Regional specialities such as Saumagen (stuffed pig's stomach) are also worth trying.

For outdoor activities you can go hiking - for example along the Moselsteig or the Eifelsteig - or cycling on one of the many well-marked routes in the area. In winter, you can even go skiing in the nearby Erbeskopf ski area. The best time for outdoor activities is in spring or autumn, when the weather is mild and pleasant.

If it rains, there are also many options in Beuren: Visit the thermal baths in Bad Bertrich, for example, or enjoy a wine tasting in one of the many wineries here.

The most beautiful thing about Beuren, Cochem-Zell? That's hard to say - but perhaps it's the picturesque villages and towns with their cosy cafés and restaurants and friendly inhabitants. Not for nothing is this area often called one of the most beautiful travel destinations in Germany!

In this Travel Guide we have given you some tips on what to experience during your stay in Beuren. We hope that this text has aroused your curiosity and wish you an unforgettable stay!

Parken sollte man kostenlos in Kennfuss.
