Geographically, Bad Wilsnack lies on the edge of the Elbe-Brandenburg River Landscape Biosphere Reserve and thus offers a unique landscape with numerous lakes, rivers and forests. The town itself is famous for its medieval buildings such as the 13th century town church or the Stift zum Heiligengrabe monastery.

Tourists can enjoy many activities here, including hiking, cycling or fishing on the surrounding waters. Hikes along the nature trail "Rund um den Großen Quast" (Around the Great Quast) or bicycle tours through the UNESCO Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve are particularly recommended.

For cultural highlights, be sure to visit the annual medieval spectacle, which takes place over three days and gives you an insight into life in the Middle Ages. The exhibitions in the monastery museum are also well worth seeing.

If it rains you can head to the thermal brine spa, where you can enjoy wellness offers or simply relax.

Culinary delights await you in the local restaurants and cafés - be sure to try the regional speciality "Prignitzer Hochzeitssuppe".

All in all, Bad Wilsnack, Prignitz is a destination that is definitely worth a trip. Visit this charming town and experience the natural beauty and historical sights of the Brandenburg region.
