    Schöne Tour im Wald, ab dem oberen Wasserfall größtenteils Waldwege. Wir haben zum unteren Wasserfall den B3 statt den E1 genommen. Sonntags Bewirtung im Wanderheim Eschelhof.

    Schöne Tour, mit der App kein Problem. Das Hörschbachtal bleibt wohl bis auf weiteres gesperrt. Wenn man sieht wie manche unangenehme Zeitgenossen den Rastplatz am oberen Wasserfall zu müllen, ist es auch leider besser so. Am Riesberg sieht es trotz Mülleimer nicht wesentlich besser aus. Aber das alles schmälert die Qualität der Tour nicht.

    Kann mich nur dem Kommentar von Norbert anschließen. Das Strümpfelbachtal hat eine herbe Romantik und ist für Wanderer eine gewisse Herausforderung (umgestürzte Bäume). Durch den Regen. einen Tag vorher. sind die Bohlen/Bretter etwas glitschig gewesen. Teilweise sind sie durchgebrochen oder fehlen ganz. Sollten dringend erneuert werden. Für technisch Interessierte: die Lambach Pumpe. Schöne Tour. Danke an Wanderfex Günther Weinert für diese interessante Tour.

    Sehr schöne Wanderung, die ich noch um einen Abstecher zur Gallengrotte um gut 2 km verlängert habe. Der Parkplatz in Ebni ist leider schattenlos. Am Eingang zum Strümpfelbachtal warnt ein Schild zurecht vor dem abenteuerlichen Weg durchs Tal. Ein weiteres Schild von Juni 2024 (!) erklärt den Weg für gesperrt aufgrund von Hangrutschungen. Das wurde wohl vergessen, denn am anderen Ende des Tals gibt es kein Verbotsschild und unterwegs ist nichts Gefährliches erkennbar. Gutes Schuhwerk ist aber ratsam. Das Strümpfelbachtal ist idyllisch und urwüchsig, der weitere Weg zum Ebnisee dann eher langweilig. Die Gallengrotte hat mir dann wieder sehr gut gefallen, der Abstecher ab dem Ebnisee nach Norden ist sehr empfeh-lenswert. Die Tour ist für heiße Tage gut geeignet, sie verläuft überwiegend im kühlen Wald. In Outdooractive gibt’s diese Wanderung 2 mal.

    Wunderschöne Tour mit stetigem Auf & Ab, viel auf herrlichen schmalen Pfaden. Nach Regen bzw. bei Nässe nicht empfehlenswert. Auch für heiße Tage gut geeignet, da man überwiegend im Wald unterwegs ist.

    Eigentlich wollte ich heute früh durchs Strümpfelbachtal zum Ebnisee. Der Weg war jedoch gesperrt. Deshalb habe ich diese Tour gewählt und bin kurz vor der Nonnenmühle in die Tour eingestiegen und im Uhrzeigersinn gelaufen. Ärgerlich fand ich die Strecken auf Asphalt bzw. direkt auf der Straße. Vor allem von Mannenberg nach Lutzenberg und noch ein Stück Richtung Brück, nur Straße, dann ein schönes Stück durch den Wald. Kurz vor Däfern kommt man wieder an die Straße zurück, wo ich wieder auf der Straße hätte weiterlaufen sollen. Das hat genervt. Deshalb habe ich die Straße nur überquert und bin den Wanderteichen nachgegangen bis Däfern. Dort habe ich mich zu einer Abkürzung nach Waldenweiler entschlossen. Wenn man die Dorfstraße nach Osten läuft und sich immer geradeaus hält kommt man kurz vor Waldenweiler wieder auf die Straße. Nach dem Ort geht es nach links wo man nach kurzer Strecke an den hübschen Bühlhauweiher kommt mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Dann am Birkenhof vorbei zum Wanderparkplatz Steinbachtal. Wunderschöne Landschaft und Ausblicke, aber zu viel Straße.

    Das Strümpfelbachtal war heute gesperrt! Schade, dass nicht schon am Wanderparkplatz ein Schild war. Aber das erste Stückchen war sehr schön. Wird noch mal versucht. Im September 2026 noch mal gestartet. Wieder gab es Verbotsschilder, dass das Strümpfelbachtal gesperrt sei. Nach Auskunft beim Forstamt Waiblingen hieß es aber dass man das Tal laufen könne. Ich habe also die Schilder ignoriert und bin die Runde gelaufen. Im wilden Strümpfelbachtal musst ich tatsächlich unter Bäumen durch oder drüber steigen. Auch eine Bachdurchquerung war dabei, weil eine Brücke defekt war. Alles sehr schön und abwechslungsreich. Die Gallengrotte fand ich toll. Da ist der Weg fast schon alpin. Danach wird’s etwas eintönig auf breiten geschotterten Forstwegen, aber nach der langen Strecke tut es auch gut, einfach laufen zu können. Am Ende kann man sich im Kneippbecken erfrischen.
