Geographically, Aland, Stendal is located between the Elbe River in the west and the Havel River in the east. The region is surrounded by forests, lakes and rivers and thus offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling or fishing.

The city itself also has a lot to offer: Visit the medieval old town with its half-timbered houses or the 17th century castle of the von Arnim-Boitzenburg family.

Culturally interested guests should not miss the annual summer of culture. Concerts, theatre performances and exhibitions are offered here.

For gourmets, there are culinary specialities such as smoked fish from the surrounding lakes or traditional German cuisine in cosy inns.

If it rains, you can make a trip to the museum or take a boat trip on the Havel. A wellness day in one of the numerous thermal baths can also be very relaxing in bad weather.

It is especially beautiful in Aland, Stendal during spring when everything is in bloom or in autumn when the leaves turn colourful. But also in summer the many bathing lakes entice you to swim and sunbathe.

All in all, Aland, Stendal is definitely worth a trip and a perfect destination for nature lovers, culture enthusiasts and gourmets. This Travel Guide offers you the best travel tips to make your stay unforgettable.
