    Nous avons rencontré surtout des seniors en vélo VAE. On a fait plusieurs fois la partie Marlenheim Molsheim car on habite dans la secteur, et on a pris le train TER une fois jusque Selestat pour remonter vers Marlenheim sur le Veloroute du vignoble. Nous recommandons cette balade qui n’est pas si difficile que cela. Très diversifiée, elle passe dans les villages et les vignobles. L’atmosphère est authentique. nous avons fait récemment la partie haut- Rhin de cette Veloroute jusque Mulhouse avec gîte étape à Soultzmatt: sympa aussi mais on a préféré le tronçon nord, donc celui-ci.

    Aufstieg zuerst durch die Rebberge und dann auf der Zufahrtsstrasse zur Burg. Alles auf Teer und im oberen Teil nahrhaft steil. Der Single-Trail-DH ist vom feinsten. Spitzkehren und flowige Abschnitte wechseln sich ab.

    Kurze aber durchaus lohnende Tour zu den von weitem sichtbaren "Trois Châteaux d'Eguisheim" und dem "Châteaux du Hohlandsbourg". Die Aufstiege sind fast ausschliesslich auf Asphalt und entsprechhend gut fahrbar. Runter geht es meist auf Trails, welche schön angelegt, oft flowig und mit wenigen technischen Schwierigkeiten versehen sind. Zeitangabe (4h) finde ich etwas gar grosszügig (ich war in 2:15 zurück).

    Startend in Wettolsheim geht es gemütlich aber stetig bergauf. Nach einiger Zeit läuft man unterhalb des Bergkamms entlang und erreicht die 3 Burgen. Nicht erst ab da kann man schöne Ausblicke in die Rheinebene genießen - gerade in der laubfreien Zeit! Die Burgruinen sind zum Teil sehenswert. Von Dort geht es geradewegs in das sehenswerte Eguisheim. Wenn man dort nicht einkehren will, sollte man doch etwas Zeit einplanen, um den ein oder anderen Wein zu verkosten, denn hierzu bietet der Ort reichlich Gelegenheit. Den nahezu ebenen Rückweg sollte man auch danach noch locker bewältigen können. Wobei - zurück in Wettolsheim - auch sehr gute Weine probieren lassen, z.B. direkt am Endpunkt der Route.
