Nice tour and quite a good, varied experience that fills about 3/4 of a day. Starting from Soultzbach the ascend is quite steep and vegetation isn’t the most exiting as one moves slowly away from street noises. When you reach the Mt. Staufen, make sure not to miss this (!) as further uphill the forest clears up and everything gets more interesting. Views are lovely, too. The next stretch leads you through a quite beautiful forest. For the restaurant in Osenbuhr, make sure to check opening times. The last stretch to Soultzbach features some entertaining smaller paths thorough forest surroundings which remain quite enjoyable.
