    Viele schöne Ausblicke beim Aufstieg. Der GR4 ist gut gekennzeichnet. Zum Schluss im Aufstieg wird es etwas mehr Geröll, aber mit festem Schuh und ggf. Treckingstock gut machbar. Zum Schluss habe ich etwas über die Skipiste abgekürzt. Hier kann man den Fahrzeugspuren gut folgen. Die Rundenrichtung ist empfehlenswert, insbesondere wenn man wie ich nicht so gut im Abstieg ist.

    Sehr schöne Tour. ACHTUNG: für unsportliche, bei höherem Wasserstand, ist der Durchgang durch die Engstelle nicht zu empfehlen. Für diese Tour und Wasserstand ist, unserem Empfinden nach, eine gute Kondition, Koordination und Fitness erforderlich. Kleine Kinder und unsportliche Teenager würden wir nicht mitnehmen. Festes Schuhwerk, Wasserfeste Taschen für Handy, Schlüssel, trockene Kleidung sind empfehlenswert. Wir waren oft bis zum Hals und bis zur Taille im Wasser. In dem oberen Anfangsstück, wir sind die Tour von oben gestartet, ging das Wasser bereits bis zum Knie. Das muss jeden stutzig machen! Dies war wahrscheinlich den regnerischen Wochen zuvor geschuldet. Man sollte genau den fluss des schnell fließenden Wassers und des darauffolgenden Stücks analysieren bevor man einfach drauf los geht. Ich weiß, dass im Hochsommer, mit wenig Niederschlag, der Pegel und die Fließgeschwindigkeit viel geringer sind und somit einfacher zu wandern ist. Jedoch liegt dann immer noch viel Gestein im Weg. Parkplatz befindet sich in 2,5 km Entfernung direkt am Anfang, dort wo der Autor die Zufahrt beschrieben hat. Die Durchfahrt bis zum oberen Punkt ist nicht mehr erlaubt.

    Habitué des traversées sur une semaine(Verdon;Ardeche;Massif Central,.... cette rando reste à mes yeux la plus extraordinaire de part sa variété de terrain,ses sentiers uniques,ses villages traversés, attention c'est du physique et du technique,mais rien d'infaisable;il y a abondance de lieus pour se ravitailler ou dormir,sauf en haute saison durant laquelle il y a une meteo tres chaude et plus de monde

    Eigentlich eine sehr schöne Tour. Aber unbedingt wasserfeste Schuhe mitnehmen. Wir sind die Tour am 27.06.2021 gegangen. Das Wasser ging mir (186cm) bis an die Hüften und die Strömung war stellenweise sehr stark. Hat am Ende, obwohl sehr erfrischend, keinen großen Spaß mehr gemacht, da die Wanderschuhe voll Wasser waren und mindestens 50 kg 😉 gewogen hatten.

    This is a good way to get to the summit of Ventoux on a mountainbike. Most of the route is gravel road and quite steep. After the crossing at the end of the Piste des Graviers Blancs there is an old road that's almost flat which gives you some time to recover from the climb and recharge for the last part on asphalt. Bring proper low gears because some parts are well over 20%. The same route can be ridden for the ascent but there are more challenging option from the summit. There is one track that goes down to Chalet Reynard, from where you can for example continue on the VTT Enduro trail (advanced) or the Circuit VTT that leads back to Bedoin.
