The approach on the asphalt road to the head of the trail is a big long. When wet, it's tricky to cross the puddles on the way without getting wet. They can be at times quite big. Otherwise pleasant and easy ride down the gravel road to the sea. The boat back to town is definitely a good idea as it saves you a climb back up the way you came. The coastal path seemed like a lot of work to go through if possible at all. There's not much shadow to be found on the way. Make sure to take lots of water with you. Great views on the way!
