Bien plus agréable au Printemps ! Sous bois tapissés de géraniums blancs, bourgeons à peine éclos des saules... et chemins mouillés, un peu collants parfois, mais pratiquables. Ce parcours pour rejoindre (ou revenir) de Lille reste l'un des plus jolis. Heureusement que le secteur pavé à la sortie de Bersée permet de rouler sur le bas-coté...à moins de se prendre pour un coureur du Paris-Roubais :-)

Très joli parcours en ce premier jour de mai, les jardins sont fleuris et le lilas embaume l'air. De très jolis points de vue sur la campagne et les terrils du bassin minier. On aperçoit même le clocher de l'église Saint Pierre et le beffroi de Douai.

Variante par le chemin des galibots un peu boueuse en cette saison, surtout après un épisode neigeux et pas mal de pluie dans la semaine. Tout le reste se fait sur la route avec très peu de circulation (on est dimanche). Un contresens un peu juste en entrant dans Orchies, et des automobilistes ignorant des règles en zone 30.
