    Attention à votre tracé qui ne suit pas du tout les sentiers de la carte, en réalité avec les méandres on est plus sur 20Km et 1000d+

    Fantastic hike! It starts at the Spanish end of the Bielsa tunnel, where there is plenty of parking space behind the customs building. The walk climbs steadily up to the French border, with beautiful views all the way. It then continues along the Spain-France border, and the views get even better. Next time I would do this walk counter-clockwise; I think that there is a better chance of finding the route markings near the top, which are not easy to find. September 2025: we did it anti clockwise. It helps a bit, but you still need to find the path along the border. Keep in mind that much of the path is on the ridge, not amongst the shrubs on the slope. Look for the stone cairns. This hike is one of our favourite hikes in the Pyrenees!

    Trs belle randonne sur la journe avec des panoramas splendides depuis Estaragne et Campbieil. Randonn tout de mme un peu technique avec pas mal de mauraines et de passages rocheux. Le sentier balcon le long du lac est trs agrable, comme la compagnie des marmottes qui font fait le plaisir de leur prsence dans la monte vers Estaragne.

    Wir sind dann doch ein bisschen anders gelaufen: Von Hendaye bis ins Herz der Pyrenäen nach Bagneres de Luchon. Es war eine herrliche Tour - dieses Jahr geht es wieder in die Richtung!
