The Costa Daurada is a nearly 220 km long coastal strip in the northeast of Spain. The "Golden Coast" owes its name to its long, fine-grained and gently sloping sandy beaches. While the coast is characterized by wide and extensive beaches and small hidden bays, the backcountry hosts small traditional villages and impressive mountain ranges such as Montsant, Muntanyes de Prades and la Mussara. Olives, almonds and cereals have always been grown here.
