Cantabrian Coast

The Costa Cantabria on the Spanish north coast is characterised by picturesque coastal landscapes and historical monuments from various eras. Especially the east of the coast is characterized by beautiful beaches and steep cliffs. The region owes its name to the Cantabrian people who settled here in ancient times before they were expelled by the Visigoths. What remains are small fishing villages that radiate their traditional Spanish charm.
