    Challenging, off-the beaten-track, trail following the faintest-possible tracks whenever possible. We met very few other people along the way, except around the Rursee. Great trail to spot wildlife.

    The StauSeeSteig is a fantastic, challenging multi-day hike that has been developed by the makers of the Dutch Mountain Trail. This trail really goes off the beaten track and we met very few others on the trail with the exception of the section around the Rursee. We covered the 124 km in 5 days which felt right as the terrain is not always easy going. As a bonus, there is quite a bit of wildlife to enjoy. Start and finish are easily reached by train. Highly recommended trail!

    Sonntagsrunde: Es ging zu Beginn ziemlich rauf unter runter - insgesamt durch eine wunderbare Kulturlandschaft , durch Orte ,die bessere Zeiten gesehen haben aber auch kleine bezaubernde Örtchen, echte Juwelen.. Kein Aufenthalt in der Region ohne Einkehr... es gab Lütticher Bouletten in Sauce Lapin und dazu ein frisch gezapftes blondes Tongeren... Savoir Vivre ...! Vielen Dank für diesen Tourenvorschlag.

    Sehr schöner abwechslungsreicher Weg. Immer wieder schöne Aussichten. Wege gut zu gehen, schmale und breite, Waldwege und Forstwege, von allem etwas. Man kann auch abkürzen, wenn man will. Lohnenswert, wir kommen wieder!!

    L'essai est réussi. Nous avons parcouru la promenade ce 01 juillet 18. Le parcours est vraiment agréable. Le seul petit point négatif, c'est la sortie de Stembert au départ. Si la sortie était aussi agréable et pittoresque que le retour, ce serait simplement parfait. Merci pour cette découverte.

    wunderschöne, abwechslungsreiche Tour mit allem was man braucht. Schöne Ausblicke, historische Sehenswürdigkeiten, Wald, Hohlwege, Flussauen, kleine Ortschaften. Befestigte und un befestigte Wege halten sich die Waage. Nach viel Niederschlag auf festes Schuhwerk achten.
