Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein und 27 Grad im wuselig-fröhlichen Aachen losgefahren, nachdem wir dort ausgiebig gefrühstückt und uns mit Streuselbrötchen für die Fahrt eingedeckt haben. (Wäre nicht nötig gewesen, aber man sollte keine Gelegenheit für Streuselbrötchen auslassen 😉). Gefühlt waren wir nach wenigen Minuten schon mitten im Grünen, zuerst zwischen Wiesen, dann durch den Wald zum Dreiländereck. Kurz danach ging’s dann auf die Ravel-Route, superentspannt und durch die Landschaft trotzdem nicht langweilig bis nach Lüttich hinein. Große Strecken verliefen im Schatten, so dass es auch von der Temperatur her sehr angenehm war. In Herve kommt man direkt an einer Brasserie mit Steckdosen an den Fahrradbügeln vorbei, an der wir kostenlos beim Kaffeetrinken die Akkus hätten laden können. Die Route endet auf einer Insel mit schönem Park und Picknickflächen. Wir sind zum Abendessen noch weitergefahren in Richtung Uni, alle Wege verliefen auf gut ausgebauten Radwegen. Der Bahnhof in Lüttich ist hell, freundlich und supersauber. Die Tickets haben wir vorab online gebucht. Am besten zuerst nach den Fahrradtickets suchen, man kann die Räder in vielen Nahverkehrsstrecken mitnehmen, aber z.B. nicht im Eurostar. Einen speziellen Fahrradwagen gibt es nicht, die darf man einfach in die Mitte im Gang stellen, das war alles in allem sehr problemlos. Absolute Empfehlung!

Première partie sur route asphaltée un peu longue. Sinon jolie balade pas très difficile. A noter un passage d’ une quarantaine de mètres dans un ruisseau d’environ 8/10cm de profondeur. (Janvier après fonte de la neige) Tout juste pour nos chaussures.
