Tennengau

Romantic mountain landscapes, wild roaring streams, cascading waterfalls, and scenic panoramic roads: these are the settings where you will be active in Tennengau. An extensive network of hiking and biking trails invites you to explore the region. Both families with children and outdoor enthusiasts who prefer a leisurely pace, as well as ambitious cyclists and mountaineers, will find their pleasure. 

In winter, several ski resorts attract visitors to the region. The snow-covered landscape also invites to go snowshoeing, ski touring, or winter hiking.

The Tennengau consists of a total of 14 idyllic villages: Abtenau, Adnet, Annaberg-Lungötz, Bad Vigaun, Golling, Hallein-Bad Dürrnberg, Krispl-Gaissau, Kuchl, Oberalm, Puch, Russbach, Scheffau, St. Koloman, and St. Martin am Tennengebirge.
