    This gravel tour was a great adventure for us. We started the tour in Passau following the Donau to Regensburg. This gave us two days to to get us a little into it. It broke the part of the Donau into two, we ended the tour in 8 days in Passau. Instead of following the GPX we sometimes followed the indications of the official cycling tours to stay away from busy traffic.

    Neue Wegführung über mehrere Kilometer zwischen Riedau und Pram. Der Weg führt nun nicht mehr über Mundorfing, sondern verläuft etwas weiter westlich am Pramer Stausee vorbei. Markierungen wurden mit Stift auf bestehenden Wegweisern verzeichnet, einzelne Abzweiger sind noch unmarkiert. Die übliche Alpenvereinsmarkierung (gut sichtbare gelbe Wegweiser) werden erst südlich von Haag wieder eingesetzt.

    Die Strecke zwischen Salzburg und Golling ist einer meiner Lieblingstouren - entlang der Salzach und dann wieder abseits über Wiesen. Durch die verwinkelte Altstadt von Hallein muss man gut auf die Schilder achten. Zwischen Golling und Werfen aufgrund der Engstelle nach dem Pass Lueg eventuell auf die Bahn ausweichen - vor allem, wenn man mit Kindern unterwegs ist!
