Tolle Tour und durch die nordseitige Ausrichtung hält sich der Schnee auch ganz gut. Tipp: nach dem Bauernhof noch die paar Meter weiter bis direkt zur Schranke fahren. Dort befinden sich, sofern geräumt, circa 8-10 Parkplätze.

Liebe Wanderer! Bin gestern (SA) vom Bahnhof St. Johann im Pongau über Panoramawege - Schwimmbad - Hahnbaum auf sehr gepflegtem Weg zum HOCHGRÜNDECK gewandert! Aufstieg 1.366 Hm in 4,5 Std, Abstieg 4 Std, die Aussicht war einfach traumhaft! Ich kann die Tour wirklich jedem empfehlen! Liebe Grüße von einem schwer begeisterten Wanderer aus Wien!

Sehr anstrengender Aufstieg bis zur Hütte! Die Hütte ist sehr nett und ein super Service wird dort geboten. Ab der Hütte ist es eher flach, sonnig und wirklich schön! Es gibt mehrmals die Option diese Tour auch ab zu kürzen.
