Trail runs in Neunkirchen

Nice paths up to Preiner Gscheid. From there many variants are possible. I stayed overnight at Ottohaus and the next day walked via the Törlweg to Payerbach station. There is a CJX that takes about 1 hour from Baden to Semmering and arrives there at 9 a.m. Regarding the route time: The planning had calculated 6h20 for the trail.

The Hochwechsel loop leads past many refreshment stops and impresses with a breathtaking panorama at the 1743 metre high Hochwechsel.

Dreistetten Station – Drobilsteig – Skywalk – Leitergraben – Plackles – Trail – Krumböcksteig – Hausstein – Grünbach Coal Mine Station.

Beautiful route through the Gutenstein Alps, with some great viewpoints.

Start at Preiner Gscheid (arrival by bus), Heukuppe, Habsburg House, Scheibwaldhöhe, Dirnbacher Hut, Ottohaus, Törlweg, Payerbach Reichenau Station

From Preiner Gscheid via Heukuppe, Habsburghaus, and Scheibwaldhöhe to Gloggnitzer Hut. Down through the Kesselgraben into the Höllental and back up through the Weichtalklamm to the Klosterwappen. From there to the Elisabeth Chapel and down to Puchberg via the cog railway hiking trail.

Long Tut Gut hiking trail, over forest roads and woodland paths.

A varied running tour through the northern Bucklige Welt. Arrival by the Aspang railway is recommended. At the beginning is the Seebenstein Castle Hill Run ("Buckltour").

From Semmering over Preiner Gscheid, the Rax, the Schneeberg to Puchberg

Mountain run starting at Waldhaus/Parkbad Seebenstein past Seebenstein Castle with a demanding round to the finish at Türkensturz.
