The Gschnitztal hut route is a long and demanding circular route from hut to hut in the Gschnitztal – a remote side valley of the Tyrolean Wipptal. Continuously technical trails make each stage challenging both coordinatively and physically. Short rope-secured passages and easy climbing sections alternate with runnable and flat stretches. Those who are fit for the terrain and can manage up to 25 kilometers and 2,200 meters of ascent daily will experience 4 unforgettable days! The second stage runs on continuously technical and partly exposed paths. Many rock passages and steep ascents and descents often make running impossible – so you should be able to move quickly while walking. With the Weißwandspitze and the Hoher Zahn, you can also include two worthwhile peaks.
