The Struffelt Route is just a few kilometers from my workplace and offers everything you want from a tour: a high proportion of trails, water, streams, heathland, wooden footbridges – and above all peace.

From Vogelsang along the winding shores of Lake Urft to Einruhr and back via the EIfelsteig trail

The Real Kick is a fantastic 120-kilometer trail made up of several of the Eifel’s most beautiful trails. The trail starts in Moselkern and then winds through the Eltz Valley, past stunning castles, and into the Volcanic Eifel. The trail ends at Lake Laach.

Tour around all three Dauner Maars via Schalkenmehren and the Altburg into the Lieser valley and back to the start at Gemündener Maar.

TRAIL RUNNING round via the Quellenweg ----------------------------------------------- Starting at the Geyrquelle of the Roman Thermal Baths, various mineral springs of the region are explored: Rhodius- Burgbrohl, Kurfürsten- and Angelikaquelle in Bad Tönisstein, Brohlerquelle in Brohl-Lützing. The landscape around Bad Breisig houses numerous mineral springs that have been used early on due to their healing properties. The wells are related to the still relatively young volcanic activity of the area.
