Trail runs in Augsburg

The technically quite simple running route describes a river-near route from the source in the Allgäu to the city center of Augsburg (Swabia), where the Wertach flows into the Lech.

From the hiking car park in Bergheim into the Anhauser Valley. Return through the Katzental with numerous beaver lodges.

Beautiful and varied half marathon through the Western Forests near Augsburg: - Start and finish at Bergheim North and South (hiking parking lots and good bus connection) - Constant alternation between uphill and downhill - Scenic route, forests and ponds - Pass the Mader spring 2x / *Refill drinking water (after kilometers 4.5 and 15.7) - Varied trail (wide forest paths to narrow trails) - 21.3 km slightly over half marathon distance*According to common opinion, the water from the Mader spring should have good drinking water quality. I myself have already drunk it by the liter, the taste was great, clear water. However, since I am not an expert on drinking water quality, I assume no guarantee or liability; consumption of the drinking water is at your own risk.
