A small but fine hike through a magnificent winter landscape.
The scenic winter hike starts at the village square in Maria Alm, across the bridge (next to the Gasthof Moserwirt) past the inn Almerwirt. Here starts path no. 12 heading towards Saalfelden. Along the way, you pass the dreamy Gasteg chapel situated on a small hill. If you're lucky, the Augenbründl, according to the story a wondrous healing spring, bubbles cheerfully. Then follows a gentle ascent into the district Schinking. Here you keep to the left and after the Golfstüberl, take path no. 11 back to Maria Alm.
