At the beginning of our hike, we turn immediately right at the hotel into Paul-Rieder-Straße and at its end turn left. We are now on the "Pfalzen" and follow the road to Argenstraße. If we go right, the road leads us out of Oberstaufen directly to Sinswang. There are three small ski lifts there, ideal for beginners. We leave Sinswang, turn left at the town exit, and hike to Saneberg. We take a look at the chapel of St. Sebastian and Wendelin from the 19th century located there. Then we continue our way, walking along the western slopes of the Kapf and eventually reach Berg. Here we can warm up in Café Paradies and enjoy the unique view of the surrounding peaks, such as the Hochgrath. On clear days, the view extends as far as Austria.
Refreshed, we set off again to complete the last part of our hike. We follow the signposted path to Oberstaufen and stay on the left side of the B308 at the Berg town exit. This way we have the Hochgrath in view, the highest peak of the area (1833m). After about 800 m, we reach the village of Stiesberg, which we cross via Bergstraße and thus finally reach Oberstaufen again. There, we turn left into Monfortweg and, following the right curve, reach the junction of Rothenfelsstraße. On it, we reach Isnyer Straße, which leads us back to Hotel Rosenalp via the stairs.
