On the south side of the Weiherkopf and the Großer Ochsenkopf, this scenic hiking trail runs above the deeply carved Bolgental valley to the Berghaus Schwaben. The trail owes its great popularity primarily to its high-altitude starting point; thanks to the Hörnerbahn, this tour doesn’t require us to climb too many meters in elevation under our own power. Along the way, we’ll enjoy views across to the Wannenkopf and the Riedberger Horn—both of which are nearby—as well as across the Iller Valley to the Allgäu main ridge.
