Through the Aferer Almen

Now on foot for a few minutes along the road until the start of the forest road branching off to the right; follow this road in switchbacks up to the Peitlerknappen hut of the South Tyrolean Alpine Club and to the crossing hiking path. Now cross open slopes on the path with magnificent views eastwards, finally turn right and descend moderately steeply through woodland down to the Hals with the inn of the same name. Now follow the also maintained path 10 gently descending westwards through the picturesque little valley and out to the parking lot.
