This winter hike takes us from the Auenhütte via the Melköde up to the Schwarzwasserhütte and back again. Thus, there are nice places to stop for refreshments both at the turning point and at the start and end points.
This winter hike takes us from the Auenhütte via the Melköde up to the Schwarzwasserhütte and back again. Thus, there are nice places to stop for refreshments both at the turning point and at the start and end points. Along the route, there are repeatedly wonderful views, including of the Hoher Ifen, whose summit is at 2230 m. Depending on the weather conditions, the winter hiking trail may be closed. Therefore, we should check the current trail conditions in advance at the Kleinwalsertal tourism office.
