Pralongià

From the car park at the valley station of the Piz Sorega cable car in San Cassiano, take trail no. 11 in a southerly direction. After about 1.5 km turn right and follow signpost 18 across the St. Kassian stream. At the Gran Ancei Hotel turn right and take trail 24A through the forest to the forest boundary and continue to below the summit of the Störes (2,181 m). Possibly make a short detour to the summit cross to enjoy the beautiful view of the Fanes group, Marmolada, Sella and Puez-Odle groups. On trail 24 (marked Pralongià) it takes about 20 minutes üover the Pralongiàplateau down to the Pralongià inn. At the next crossroads, continue left, following mark 23, in a north-westerly direction until you reach Ütia de Bioch. Descend along the piste in a northerly direction to the Piz Sorega hut, from where you can take the Piz Sorega cable car back to San Cassiano.
