This very beautiful varied route starts from a pretty plateau at the north entrance of the village of Liddes. It then runs along the Dranse river and crosses the typical hamlet of the same name before making a loop to the Palasuit hydropower plant.

Starting from the tourist office, you follow the cross-country ski trail northwest before descending towards the village of Dranse. You then climb on the left bank of the Dranse to the Pallazuit hydropower plant before descending on the right bank to reach the village of Dranse again and climb back up to Liddes.
