From the Hexenwasser gondola’s upper station, the hike heads west toward the Stöcklalm, passing the Hexenhaus by the pond. The trail then winds downhill toward Söll via two switchbacks. After a short crossing of the ski slope, the path runs slightly downhill to the right of it until it reaches the Stöcklalm. Here, the route follows the Mondrodelbahn toboggan run—or family run—downhill for a short stretch. Just past the barn, the trail branches off onto the access road and runs around the Salvenmooser Kogel, climbing slightly again toward Hochsöll. Along the route, there are several places to stop for a leisurely break. The trail then leads slightly downhill back to the top station of the gondola.
