Ifenblick round

The beautiful mountain landscape of the Allgäu Alps invites hikers and walkers to explore its paths even in winter. This short round leads us through the snowy forest to Ifenblick above Bad Hindelang and Oberjoch. First heading south along the federal road, we pass wayside shrines and a chapel with pictures. We pass the Alpenhotel Oberjoch, which has established itself as a family hotel over the past years and particularly caters to the needs of children while adults enjoy a care break. On snow-covered paths, the route goes through the quiet winter forest to Ifenblick. Here, hikers are rewarded with a breathtaking view: Not only Bad Hindelang, the Ostrach valley, and nearby mountains like Imberger Horn or Breitenberg can be seen, but with good visibility also – as the name suggests – the Ifen in Kleinwalsertal.
