The route begins by passing through a small forest below the lodge. This time we passed from the lower, southern side of the Javorak peak and reached below the switchbacks leading to the summit. There is a spring and a large concrete basin where water supplies can be replenished. We took a short break and headed towards the summit.
From that point until the Observatory, we were constantly exposed to cold wind. However, a clear day and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains Visočica, Treskavica, Jahorina, Trebević, and even Maglić, Bioč, and Durmitor in the distance made moving towards the summit easier.
