The cross-country trails in Altdorf are machine-groomed by members of the DAV section Altdorf on a voluntary basis when there is enough snow.

The creation and grooming of a trail always depend on the snow conditions and the management of the ground.
Therefore, a trail map can only ever represent a rough possible trail routing. The two trail routes were recorded in Feb 2006 and Jan 2010.

Information about the trail conditions can be obtained from the "Laufband" at the top of this page or from the Alpine Club Altdorf tel. (0 91 87) 95 93 63 with a tape announcement.

    Safety information

    Rules:
The trails are to be used in "classic style"!
    Keep to the running direction!
Dogs are prohibited on the trails!
Do not leave the machine-groomed trails!
    - Because the course of our trails has been coordinated with the hunters.
Respect is naturally paid to game habitats, wildlife retreat areas, and new plantations when laying out the trails.

Please keep in mind that in the exposed location, the trails may not always be optimal due to wind drifts.
Our grooming machine operators try their best in their free time to provide you with an optimal trail.
