At the gates of Amiens, go up the canal opposite the cathedral and after the portage, you will have well deserved to access the running water of the Old Somme! Embark on the left bank upstream of lock no. 18 and go up the canal towards Amiens. Disembark on the left bank (on your right) after the bridge. You have to carry the canoe on the path crossing the tip of the island. Embark on the right bank on the old Somme downstream of the dam, be careful, no facilities are planned for embarking. Disembark on the right bank at the Amiens Chés Barboteux Club.
