Drau paddle route

A certified canoe instructor equips you with the necessary safety gear for your route and teaches you all the required paddling strokes to safely steer the canoe along the Drau. He accompanies you in your 2-4 seat canoes, which also have enough space for your personal gear. The Drau flows very calmly and gently through Villach; enjoy the city of Villach from a different perspective here. The closer you get to the Gail river mouth and the Drau reservoir in Rosegg, the more peaceful the currents of the Drau become. Refreshments are also provided along the way. At a shared picnic, we offer you a genuine "Carinthian snack" with products from surrounding organic farmers. Refreshed, we then begin the last part of our route, moving almost silently past the harmonious spots of the flat-water biotope Föderlach. Shortly before the dam in Drau/Rosegg, our route ends, and we take you back to the Faaker See.
