Day route over 2000m ascent, start around 7:30 am At a moderate pace, you reach the Wiener Neustädter Hut by midday. In the afternoon then via the Stopselzieher to the old cable car mountain station and on to the summit. However, the actual summit can be left to the cable car tourists. Return by cable car to Eibsee. Alternatively, you can climb the summit after the last descent and then descend to the hut.
